The Alerts page

Alerts watch an area and tell you when something new shows up there. They’re included with any paid plan. Most people create and manage alerts in Maps. See Alerts in Maps for every step. This page covers the separate Alerts page, which lists what all your alerts have found.

The Alerts page

The Alerts page shows everything your alerts have found. To open it, press ⌘ K (or click Search in the header) and choose Alerts. Some pages list it as Notifications. It’s also under Products in the home page footer. Across the top you’ll see how many alerts you have, and the matches, runs and failures over the last 24 hours. Then pick a view:

• Table lists every match from all your alerts, newest first, over the last 7d, 30d or 90d. Click a row to open that run.
• Cards shows each alert with its Run history. Click a bar to see what that run matched. Each card has a switch (Disable alert / Enable alert), Edit alert (the pencil), and a ⋯ menu with Duplicate and Delete.

New alert uses the same three steps as Maps: Area, Source, Review. Here you can also Add from library to watch a county, basin or district. Deleting an alert asks first, then gives you a few seconds to Undo. Its run history is kept. You can have up to 50 active alerts.

Access

Alerts come with any paid plan. If the Alerts page says Alerts isn’t enabled for you yet, click Request access to email us. Once it’s granted, click I’ve been granted access — refresh.
