Left rail
The rail on the left opens drawers over the map:
Top bar
- Search: find wells, leases, operators, fields and places. See Search.
- Place name: the county you’re looking at. Hover it for a summary of what’s in view, and to ask about the view.
- Production counter: oil (bbl/d) and gas (mcf/d) produced by the wells in view. Hover it to see the top operators and fields.
- Project pill: appears when a project is active (Enterprise).
Right side controls
Hover each icon to open its panel:
- Layers: turn map layers and heatmaps on and off. See Layers & heatmaps.
- Basemap: choose the background map, including Satellite and Topo.
- Filters: show only certain well types (Oil Well, Gas Well, Permit…) or wellbores (Vertical / Horizontal). The icon lights up while a filter is on.
- Settings: color theme, well popups, well icon size, well labels, and offline copies.
Bottom right are zoom buttons and a ruler for measuring distance. Click to add points, double-click to finish, and press Esc to stop.
Data tables
The handle on the map’s right edge, labeled Tables, opens the data tables beside the map. Drag it to resize. See Data tables.
Clicking and hovering
- Hover a well to see its operator, lease, field, daily volumes and status. Click the API to copy it.
- Click a well to open its record. See Wells, leases & operators.
- Shift + drag a box to compare up to 1,000 wells side by side.
Prefer popups on click instead of hover? Change Settings → Well Popup to On Click.
