Read the page

  • Net asset value at the top of the summary.
  • Discount ladder: the value at other discount rates. Click a rate to re-rate the page.
  • PDP reserves, and any Warnings about the data.
  • Where the value sits: the value broken down several ways.
  • What moves the number: a tornado chart of how oil price, gas price, opex, NRI and discount rate change the value.
  • Type curves and Produced to date, by operator.
  • The Leases table, filterable to Valued or Needs review, and to horizontal or vertical.

  • Prices & differentials
  • Operating costs
  • Taxes
  • Interests (NRI, WI)
  • Discount rate
  • Escalation for oil price, gas price and opex (%/yr), with a cap in years
Recompute reruns the valuation.

Projects scoped only by county, district, basin or field show Nothing to value yet. Add operators, leases or drawn areas to value them.
