  • An operator: everything an operator holds. The Who might sell screener ranks operators by their recent divestitures.
  • A lease collection: a list of leases you pick.
  • An area of interest: the leases in an area.

From the map

You can build a lease collection while you browse:
  1. In the Leases table, tick leases and choose Add to deal draft. On a lease card, click Deal draft.
  2. Open the Deals tab. Your leases are in the Draft card, which holds up to 600.
  3. Click Create deal…, give it a Name and Description, and Create deal.

Curate the leases

On the Curate tab, mark each lease: Filter the list by status, or use Reject all. On the map, click a lease to accept it; click an accepted lease to put it back. The other tabs are Areas (how the leases cluster), Package (the value of what you’ve accepted) and Assumptions (prices, costs and interests for this deal).

Reports and exports

From the deal’s actions menu:
  • Refresh valuation after changing leases or assumptions.
  • Deal report & workbook opens Deal documents. Set a Project codename and Effective date, pick pages, and click Open CIM for a printable offering memorandum. The Appendix workbook is an Excel file of the first 250 leases, or every lease.
  • Lease table (current filter) downloads the leases as they’re filtered.
  • Cash flow downloads the package cash flow, monthly, quarterly or annual.
