# Wellbore Builder

> Draw a wellbore diagram, starting from the RRC record.

Open a well on the map and click **Builder**.

## Start from the RRC record

Enter an **API number** and click **Load from RRC** to fill in the casing, tubing and depths on record. RRC data may be incomplete, so check it against your own files.

## Edit the diagram

* **Add component** adds casing, tubing, perforations and other parts. Click a component to **Edit component**.
* **Well info** holds the well's header details.
* **Undo**, **Redo** and **Clear** are in the toolbar.

## Save and export

From the **File** menu:

* **Save** / **Save as…** saves the diagram. **Open…** opens a saved one.
* **Export** → **PNG image** or **PDF**.
