# Home & the daily brief

> Your project's overview board, daily brief and event feed.

**Home** is a board of panels about your project: **Overview**, **Daily brief**, **Activity feed**, **Map**, **Production** and **Activity by type**.

## Arrange the board

* Drag a panel by the grip in its header. Drag its edge to resize it.
* **Pin panel in place** (the lock) stops it moving.
* **Maximize panel** fills the screen with it. <kbd>Esc</kbd> restores it.
* **Reset layout** puts the panels back where a new project starts. It only affects this board.

## Overview

Totals for the project: well records, leases, operators, daily oil and gas, and areas.

## Daily brief

Each day, QuickScout writes a short brief on new activity in your project: permits, completions and other filings. The panel shows how many events are new.

Click it to read the full brief. From there:

* **Email me** sends the brief to the project owner each day it's ready.
* **Re-run** refreshes a brief that's out of date.
* **Manage brief** can regenerate the summary or re-run it from scratch.

| If you see                           | Do this                                                     |
| ------------------------------------ | ----------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Manage areas**                     | The project has no areas yet. [Add one](/enterprise/areas). |
| **Generate brief**                   | Events were found but not written up yet. Click it.         |
| **Retry now**                        | The last run failed. Try again.                             |
| *No nearby activity in this window.* | Nothing new happened in your areas.                         |

## Activity feed

The latest events in your project. Sort by **Newest first**, **Highest IP oil**, **Longest lateral**, **Closest to my wells** or **Operator A–Z**. **Add this lease to a deal** on any row sends it to a deal.

## Production

Your project's oil and gas over time, on a log or linear scale. **Add a comparison** charts a watchlist item alongside it.
