# Economics

> Net asset value of your project's leases, what drives it, and a full cash-flow report for each lease.

Open **Economics** in the rail. It values the leases in your project: **net asset value** is PV-10 less plugging liability.

## Read the page

* **Net asset value** at the top of the summary.
* **Discount ladder**: the value at other discount rates. Click a rate to re-rate the page.
* **PDP reserves**, and any **Warnings** about the data.
* **Where the value sits**: the value broken down several ways.
* **What moves the number**: a tornado chart of how oil price, gas price, opex, NRI and discount rate change the value.
* **Type curves** and **Produced to date, by operator**.
* The **Leases** table, filterable to **Valued** or **Needs review**, and to horizontal or vertical.

## Change the assumptions

Click **Assumptions** to edit:

* **Prices & differentials**
* **Operating** costs
* **Taxes**
* **Interests** (NRI, WI)
* **Discount** rate
* **Escalation** for oil price, gas price and opex (%/yr), with a cap in years

**Recompute** reruns the valuation.

## Try a what-if

**Narrow scope** values just some of your areas. Click **Run valuation**, and **Reset** to go back.

## Lease reports

Click a lease in the table to see its production and cash flow stream and its NPV profile. **Export** downloads a **Report (PDF)**, the **Cash flow stream (CSV)**, or the **NPV profile (CSV)**.

**Export CSV** at the top of the page downloads the whole leases table.

<Note>
  Projects scoped only by county, district, basin or field show *Nothing to value yet*. Add operators, leases or drawn areas to value them.
